The All India Muslim Front (AIMF) Monday appealed to Muslims to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with austerity and wear black caps or bands to condemn the spate of recent terrorist bombings in various parts of India. At least two people were drowned and 10 went missing after a boat capsized in the Saryu river in Uttar Pradesh Monday, the police said. "The accident took place near the Khairigarh bank of the river in Lakhimpur-Kheri district," District Superintendent of Police Ram Bharose told IANS by telephone. Lakhimpuri-Kheri is about 100 km from Lucknow. As many as 25 people were in the boat at the time of the accident. Of them, 13 managed to swim to the shore, he added. The people were going to
