Actor Wesley Snipes was sentenced yesterday to 3 years in prison for 3 misdemeanor counts of failing to file a tax return for the years 1999-2001. As reported in a previous article, Snipes was acquitted on 2 felony charges of conspiracy and tax fraud and 3 charges of failure to file a tax return.
